NOTE:

The main difference between the 2 and 3 wire versions is as follows:
The 2 wire solenoid relies on the metal body for the negative. The 3 wire has an isolated metal body with the black wire providing the negative. Also the 2 wire has an automatic cut off on the Pull coil preventing it from burning out. The 3 wire Pull coil can only be energised for a maximum of 2 seconds. The coil will burn out if a prolonged DC supply is applied to the Pull coil.

This force is only applicable when the solenoid is fully pulled in. When installing the solenoid onto a machine, the full stroke should be achieved when the hold coil is energised.
